We know the WWE title match is not headlining Wrestlemania this year. Assuming Bryan retains inside the Elimination Chamber, why not have Mustafa Ali as an underdog challenger for Daniel Bryan and the title at Mania?

Vince might put the wwe title match on the preshow if Mustafa gets that Shot. I agree though he would be the best option
It's unpopular, but I'm against the idea.
(Not that Ali isn't talented enough, I love seeing a new guy get the rub as a matter of fact).
But that was a match that should've happened at the Rumble. Timing is very important in the wrestling business (just like any other business, I imagine). And the timing AFTER Ali pinned DB, it just would've made a lot better sense, allowing this new guy on the roster to co-main event one of the 'Big 4' shows… just not thee biggest, as I feel it's too much, too soon.
Moving forward (ideally), I'd prefer it to be Rey Mysterio. He's a small guy like DB, can give DB a hell of a match, and Rey (as well as Cien Almas) could be part of a #1 Contender's multi-man match at FastLane – with Rey picking up the win.
Come time for WM, if Rey loses, Cien Almas is right there waiting in the wings to revive their feud / turning into respect. If Rey won the strap, guess who is first challenger is: Cien Almas!
(And you know Rey would be perfectly ok dropping the strap to Andrade, at the later April PPV…. OR even on SD! After Mania!!).

I like Ali he's insanely talented but he's nowhere near ready to challenge for the world title but yeah at The same time it's not like there's any better options Bryan and Styles has already ran it's course Bryan vs Joe or Orton wouldn't make sense they're all heels don't want to see Bryan vs Hardy Mysterio is busy with a feud with Andrande and even though I don't really dislike him anymore I don't want to see Bryan vs Cena again been there done that lol think I'm done their hands are tied.
If they don't bring up a name like Aleister Black or Ricochet to challenge Bryan, it should definitely be Mustafa Ali, Ali regardless should get a title shot at wrestlemania whether he's in a multi man for the US Title or preferably Bryan and the WWE Title
The only way that would happen is if the build-up leading up to Wrestlemania makes sense, but you know how WWE is with characterization these days. People still are fascinated in Mustafa Ali (at least for the time being), but should the lad be presented in a horrendous manner by the idiots in WWE management, then folks will start to have their doubts about him.
Love Ali, but no. He's not ready. Give him the US title. Imagine a Muslim in Trump's pal's promotion winning the US title. He could do a lot with the US title. Much more than Truth. An Ali Bryan title match wouldn't be bad, but where does Ali go after he loses?
Two things I'd rather see at Mania instead of Ali losing to Bryan with Rowan interference. I'd rather see Ali vs AJ at Mania to steal the show/do the job on the way out if AJ is scaling down or leaving. Or I would like to see Finn vs Bryan at Mania for the title. The second match won't happen, but would be cool. There is enough time to make it happen. And they are supposedly shaking things up right?
