KENNY OMEGA Chooses All Elite Wrestling Over WWE!

Kenny Omega has made his choice and that choice is All Elite Wrestling. Solomonster talks about the length of his new contract, the Wrestlemania match he wanted but may have missed out on forever, some shade thrown at New Japan and his rematch with Chris Jericho at the Double or Nothing event in Las Vegas on May 25th.

  1. Styles was booked as a mid-card geek champion and now he's playing second fiddle to women. If Omega went to WWE, he would probably end up with a dancing gimmick. Not signing with WWE was a defense mechanism. He knows Vince would kill his character.

  2. So Omega played it safe surprising no one.
He knows for all the in ring skills he has, he has no real mic skills which would put him at a big disadvantage in WWE (and will hurt AEW over all).
Rollins, Daniel Bryan and AJ are every bit good as he is but they at least have mic skills to get them to the top.
Cesaro and Sami are also at that top level of in ring talent but have always been kind of ok on the mic so they've stuck in the mid card since getting to WWE.

  3. he made the safe boring choice and without risk and seeing him figth the same guys he has been figthing for years on the indys is a very boring prospectin the wwe we could have gotten omega vs bryan , omega vs styles , omega vs ali , omega vs Jeff hardy , omega vs zayn , omega vs Owen , omega vs balor and so on

  4. Not sure Cody's role, but Omega mentioned about scouting the world for new talent kind of what Jim Ross did for WWE.

  5. Kenny, in my opinion, chose the worse out of two options with going to AEW instead of WWE. WWE, the YouTube of professional wrestling, will remain the most viewed company of the remaining and continuously shrinking viewer base of all professional wrestling. Look at the ratings that WWE has lost over the years and notice the FACT that other companies (TNA, ROH, etc.) have NOT gained WWE's lost viewership. TNA, ROH and the other companies, the Dailymotions and Bitchutes of professional wrestling, are and most likely will never be able to DRAW a meaningful amount of people away from the main platform of public exposure that is WWE. AEW, if they are to succeed, will only be able to get a slice of the remaining pie but certainly not INCREASE the overall size of the pie. Because of these simple facts and sound logic it puzzles me as to how AEW will ever run financially and economically positive with the amount of money they are able to throw around just to secure a share of the remaining pie. In this regard I believe that AEW will spectacularly crash and burn and will shrink to a small level (akin to ROH) in a very short amount of time, leaving them to be unable to pay these lofty salaries once contracts run out and are up for renegotiation. So this probably means Kenny got lured into a big contract paid for by ridiculous investor money and he, as well as all the other big contracts, will not be able to create enough revenue AND profit for the company to remain economically feasible. I predict that at the end of his supposed multi million contract he will wrestle in front of sub-1000 houses wishing that he went to "YouTube" (WWE) instead of "Dailymotion 2.0" (AEW) to set up his channel and gain a subscriber base. Good luck Kenny coming to this realization at 40 years old and then rushing to the big platform or rather what will be left of it since the pie will only continue to shrink. Bad decision Kenny, bad decision.

  6. does wwe really needs Kenny omega anyway they got the talent they need, wwe just sucks at making logic storyline and have favorite's they only push, so Kenny omega didn't make the wrong move

  7. Why would any smart wrestler work for WWE. They just are terrible. They'll kill any career with trying. I hope AEW Destroys them. WWE and there ego are just rediculous.

  8. Vince: "I wish we signed you (AJ) ten years ago! You could've been the next Shawn Michaels!" WE TOLD YOU THAT VINNIE! WHY DIDN'T YOU LISTEN?!?!
