Chael, Boxing actually cutoff three Championship Rounds. Also, Bareknuckle Fights used to last hrs. You spoke very ignorantly in regards to the Boxing comparison. Why do fights last as long as they do in Boxing? Most often they can easy last longer. MMA Fighters in general simply don't have the Stamina that Boxers do.

3 rounds make sense because it forces to fight and not dick around for two rounds. the faster you end it the more pressure it is on the fighter to find a way to end it. lots of fighters sometimes stand around and throw a kick or two. 3 rounds make sense.
