Dana simply doesn't give a fuck about GSP anymore, but he will pull his pants down if Conor demands the same. Conor took Featherweight title, didn't defend. took lightweight, didn't defend for 500 days. Comes back after 2 years and gets an immediate title shot. Gets his ass handed to him and still in conversation for a rematch. But GSP wins middleweight and left coz he was unhealthy, vacated the belt so that the division won't be clogged with contenders and this is how Dana treats his requests.
Could be and that would be amazing if he after a few months comes back and say's he's fighting Khabib. But I don't think so, because probably he wouldn't otherwise be doing that extended live press conference about his retirement I think. But I don't know, maybe, who knows.
The UFC is so fucking odd.They don't wanna do the Khabib GSP fight because it would cause more of a log jam and they have been "burned" by GSP before….but BROCK LESNAR hadn't won a legit fight in 8 years, on suspension can come back and get a title fight with DC? Someone make sense of this please

Say they do fight and say George wins the belt. What's really happened here George has just blemished the undefeated champion. Dana knows George won't stick around and defend. He will do the same thing and relinquish the belt. Where's the upside for Dana other then killer pay per view fight sales for that one night. There is no upside. But i would love to see it happen but there's no real reason to make it happen.
Just do a NON title match against Khabib. There is no title on the line. That will be a more fair idea for everyone.
Until khabib fights an actual NCAA wrestler, I don't think he can ever rock that GOAT status.. #justsayin
