  1. there's a video of a tkd guy knocking out a guy trying to stab him with a fake knife with a head kick!, they are both sparring with knives and they cant stab each other and the guy has success with a surprising head kick, one shot. i dont recommend that in a real fight tho too rare right

  2. Hector Lombard vs Jake Shields was a fun fight to watch in regards to Judo being used in MMA.

  3. You can create momentum by playing around with your opponents ego, push him in a direction, 99% of the people will try to counter the pushing and RIGHT at that moment you change the momentum the way he was countering the push, you only need a split second of them trying to resist / counter the push / momentum you put on them for you to get an opportunity to switch the direction AS he is countering the push. Really hard to explain

  4. Firas is sooo smart and genius. He explain about each martial very good l. His the best mma coach his not a specialist he tries to learn it all. No wonder gsp trains with him becuz they talk alike. I totally agree I had a heavy weight trying to man handle me in. A clinch and it perfect for a hip toss but when a skinny guy sparred with me I tried the same hip toss but his was backing up and running away from so it didn't work

  5. I feel he indeed uses his judo but i think alot of his setups and concepts has been devolped through training and competing in combat sambo and check out sonny browns study on fedors takedowns!

  6. Nice analysis coach. The throws and setups used by Karo should also be discussed.
