UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show and says “there were a lot of unhappy people” with his fight against Cain Velasquez in UFC Fight Night: Ngannou vs. Velasquez. He said it’s clear he won fair and square and says his punch landed before Velasquez hurt his knee early in the first round. Ngannou says he didn’t need to call out heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier to get a title shot. Ngannou says if he had an option he’d like to fight for the title but would welcome a rematch with Stipe Miocic.

Francis deserves his rematch against Stipe its the only fight to make in the HW division.
I thought he would lose too. The predator proved me wrong. But, this fight was a win win and loss loss. I love both of these guys. Unfortunately, one of these great guys had to lose. Much respect for both men. It takes big balls to fight either one of these great athletes. 🇨🇲🇲🇽🇺🇸🔥
