Francis Ngannou: People were unhappy with Cain Velasquez defeat

UFC heavyweight Francis Ngannou joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show and says “there were a lot of unhappy people” with his fight against Cain Velasquez in UFC Fight Night: Ngannou vs. Velasquez. He said it’s clear he won fair and square and says his punch landed before Velasquez hurt his knee early in the first round. Ngannou says he didn’t need to call out heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier to get a title shot. Ngannou says if he had an option he’d like to fight for the title but would welcome a rematch with Stipe Miocic.

  1. really like francis. and i dont blaming for blanking dana, the way he was treated after losing his first title shot was disgraceful.i mean lasting 25 mins with stipe is no mean feat

  2. Why don’t you let people be who they are instead of what you need them to be for your job?
You are being an ass sir

  3. Ngannou vs miocic rematch
for interim belt while DC heals up or decides WTF to do.

Stipe truly deserves that rematch with DC but I don't see him getting it. So if anything Francis deserves the Stipe rematch since I don't see him getting a shot just yet.

    Makes sense to me anyway

I'm not even concerned with Brock Lesnar.

  4. The place for the first UFC Africa should be held in Capetown South Africa. The western fans would make that trip and South Africa has a strong MMA fan base.

UFC South Africa is a guaranteed hit.

  5. Ariel's opening promo & his French lol. You got me there Ariel that was hilarious!

  6. his knee gave out a milisecond before the uppercut if you watch it closely from a good angle
and the uppercut didnt really phase him it was his knee that he was in pain from
