Officer Jared Tipton (Kansas City PD) has less 1 year on the job, but with his jiu-jitsu training, he controlled the suspect with unprecedented composure.
Awesome!!! Wish my department would recognize the power and importance of this type of training! My academy taught 4 days of low percentage prowrestling moves, a few modified Aikido techniques and couple of pressure points. Then said go get em guys lol!
See that is catch, less than 1 year on the job. Give him a few more years in the toxic environment and he will be beating the crap out of people for the hell of it.
Im not a cop but i do security can i still leave what they learn??
Whoa! This is amazing! I've seen the demos before, but seeing it actually happen is something else. It worked perfectly, and pretty much no one was harmed.
literally awesome to see well executed moved on bad guys
What color belt is that officer?
Solid technique on a non resistant person. Dude probably had a real jacked up arm for a week or so.
Well done Officer Tipton! Seriously, great effing job…
I love cultural diversity!
