  1. Uneducated battery expert, hes talking about 60 watts on the batteryside but only a few on the ac side. The wattage for a switchmode charger is in that case 64 watts!!!.Not 4 watts.

  2. 13:00 so the spiral battery design came from Odyssey and then Optima took it over.. BTW lithium ion drop in replacement 12V batteries are next. Very high density, very high CCA. Discharging doesn't harm it at all. You've seen those lithium ion jump start bricks that's not much bigger than a phone (thicker tho) and can start a semi-truck?

  3. I dig the fact he has small segments like this that fill us in on the technical side of being a car nut. it's good to be a little more informed on a passion of yours. thanks for these, Jay! Hope you keep interest in making videos for this channel!

  4. Fun fact: Jay actually lost the ability to look for new information independently 16 years ago. Now if he wants to learn something new he needs to make an infomercial where he interviews an expert that explains things to him. It's actually a really sad story. So I lied. Sorry. #talkshowhostitis

  5. Thanks very informative: a dry cell that is wet, and an expensive battery that only lasts a little longer than a regular battery and needs a special charger. If I had one I am sure that I would appreciate the fact that it can be turned upside down when I flip my car!
