  2. Cody is a smart dude: he really knows how the fans outside WWE think and knows even if he fails he is going to make a buck and not lose anything in return.
    Too bad he does not have anyone good to be the face of his promotion… unless the end game is to put the championship on himself.

  4. My only hope is that they avoid that mistakes that TNA made (immediately pushing any WWE castoff/reject, rely on the “old guard” i.e. – Russo, Bischoff)

  5. another tna type flea market low budget fed with jobbers from wwe and tna. this won't last for more then 6 months.

  7. If they can lure Aj Styles and Nakamura away from WWE…. IF. I doubt it. Or Balor even. But the E is so powerful and rich. These men cant turn down that money to "be happy". AEW can be competitive. They have to work with ROH and NJPW in some way. Co-promoting shows in the US and Japan would be Great! A TV deal would be the tipping point. Anyway you look at it, it's Great for Wrestling. So I'm in. Double or Nothing. It has to go further.

  8. While im happy for a new wrestling promotion, i dont want them to go the tna route. Dont try to compete with Wwe right off the bat. Build your fanbase and establish yourself before even thinking of trying to go against Wwe.
