Who Should Max Holloway Fight at Lightweight? | SiriusXM | Luke Thomas

After Max Holloway’s win over Brian Ortega at UFC 231, I believe he should stay at featherweight provided the weight cut is manageable. That said, interest in his participation at lightweight is at an all-time high. If he were to go 155lbs, who should he face: Nate Diaz, Conor McGregor, Tony Ferguson or Khabib Nurmagomedov? I discussed this issue on my radio show.

The Luke Thomas Show airs weekdays, 3 to 6pm ET, on SiriusXM RUSH, channel 93.

  1. Said the same thing as the fight was going on. Max pretty much boxed the whole fightnvs Ortega, threw a kick or two but mostly boxing. Diaz would be a boxing match with 4 oz gloves with two tit for tat combo throwing boxers. Huge draw also

  2. “You donkeys keep breaking fight news that’s gonna come out anyway”.

    Get em Luke 😂👏🏾

  3. Max v tony, Nate, khabib, Conor, even cowboy….so many sick fights at 55 if that's what he wants

  4. Khabib tony, winner gets Holloway? Or Conor nate 3 then winner gets Holloway or winner of khabib tony?

  5. max should defend against renato and zabit n chad maybe let the 55 clear up let 65 happen then move up. dont move up without a plan like we've yet to see a repeatble method of getting the second belt. dcs gonna retire to reset it all like how do u do and keep both divisions moving how would say tyron move up and not hold either division up and continue fighting and not getting one stripped. cuz if thats not possible why even try
