  1. Steve Maxwell, 65 year old BJJ black belt and fitness expert, agrees with what Firas is saying.

  2. What SHOULD I be doing then? I don’t do CrossFit but this clip brings up the question. If performance in the cage is the ultimate goal is it wise to be constantly switching between workout methods or is consistency more important? Another question that I have is if our body adapts to specific exertion, should all conditioning be fighting specific?

  3. Firas regarding your claim that no crossfitter would curse at you if you were standing in front of them… are you serious? Much stronger and tougher guys than you have been cursed at face to face…but you act as if you're an intimidating guy like Mike Tyson, LOL.
Do you believe that you can beat up any cross fitter on the planet? C'mon, Annie Thorisdottir would probably choke you out.

  4. The issue with crossfit is that there are too many people instruct who do not know what they’re doing and participates who aren’t patient enough to go lighter to get the technique down first. Like with any workout not doing it properly will cause injuries and/or you won’t get great results. If you find the right instructor and you’re patient crossfit is actually a fantastic workout.

  5. You put out some of the bad of crossfit. I'm curious why you didn't mention the imbalanced training that causes the exorotated feet and the protracted shoulders. due over kill of squatting movement & pressing movements. it is very rare a crossfit box does this right.

  6. I personally think that when using heavy weights you shouldn't be trying to push yourself aerobically. use say running for that.

  7. Which CrossFitters replied to you firas? Also good points
