Former UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show via Skype to discuss his reaction to Daniel Cormier vs. Derrick Lewis, the UFC 230 main event title fight. Miocic explains how frustrated he was watching the fight, saying that should have been him facing Cormier for the heavyweight title. Stipe also reacts to Cormier saying he was too good to fight him after just three weeks’ notice, saying it wasn’t a good reason to not take the fight. Miocic expresses how he is pulling for a rematch with Cormier, saying he “deserves a shot,” how is frustrated that it hasn’t happened yet and will be upset if he doesn’t get it. Stipe has no interest sitting down with the UFC because he says he has done it before and “it never worked.”

Stipe is the best dude ever, but he has to learn that life ain't fair. He will definitely get the belt back though. He is still the best heavyweight ever.
Stipe is so fucking butthurt. I used to be a huge fan of his but the way he's been such a pathetic loser after getting absolutely dusted is so cringe. He's like "I was winning the fight until I got KO'd". You came out, boxed a little, then started getting tagged by a guy with the reach of a lightweight and got knocked the fuck out. Absolutely pathetic moaning loser.
I like Stipe but recently he just comes off as entitled. Talking about 9 times out 10 he wins that fight. Like dude Cormier had a game plan to get into dirty boxing and scrap close range. You got knocked out its not like it was a split decision and the title was taken from you based on judges. Daniel Cormier knocked you out take it like a man and get to fighting.

Stipes a great guy but why tf would you sit & whine about deserving a rematch for months instead of going out getting a w & wouldn't even had to say a word; if you deserved it after getting ko'd in 1st round or not
DC's one of the few guys where he can KTFO of someone in 1 round, and people will call him scared because he didn't give the person an immediate rematch loool
