Marlon Moraes ‘upset’ with UFC for not getting a title shot | Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show

UFC bantamweight Marlon Moraes joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show via Skype to discuss what his next for him in the UFC. Moraes explains why he is upset with the UFC for not giving him a title shot and both Dominick Cruz and Raphael Assuncao turned down fights against him. Moraes expresses his thoughts on UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw moving down in weight to face Henry Cejudo at UFC 233, saying that Dillashaw should drop the belt if he is going down a division. Moraes gives his prediction for this super fight, saying that Cejudo will not beat Dillashaw because he thinks TJ is on a different level.

  1. Hard to believe Marlon is Brazilian, he doesn't sound like a Brazilian at all, if anything he sounds like an improved and steroid-free version of Anderson Silva

  2. I’d like to hear Dom’s take on the denial.
Guys always throw stuff out in the media. Dom surely knows he isn’t in line for a title shot due to inactivity.

  3. THERE SHOULD BE NO REMATCHES FOR CHAMPIONSHIPS. Fighters have to wait forever to get their turn(1-3 years), which just isn't fair. If a fighter loses champ, they should move down the ladder and have to move back up.

  4. Every fighter in that division is ducking the fuck out of Moraes as he's a danger to everybody & if he connects can send the whole lot of them to the hospital. Moraes vs TJ should be next, especially if they're keeping the 125lb division.

  5. Marlon seems like a nice guy, but he should tell it like it is. Dominick and assuncao are afraid of him and don’t want the risk

  6. Don't be upset dude. You should be but the ufc has fuckin jumped the gun on a lot of guys lately. Take a few more fights, grow a bigger fan base, meanwhile TJ does the same which in the long run will make it a bigger fight. Assuming both of these guys win.

  7. What an amazing Dude!!! Stay patient Marlon… congrats on the Healthy baby and wife.
