Indy Wrestler Claims Nia Jax Hatred Driven By SEXISM?

Solomonster talks about a Twitter exchange between Lance Storm and independent wrestler Shazza McKenzie over her belief that the intense Nia Jax hate after hurting Becky Lynch is the product of sexism. Lance doesn’t agree with her. What say you?

  1. People are such misogynists for being upset that a woman they like got her face punched in by another woman.

  2. Sexism and racism are now cop out arguments. Too many use them as excuses. Shows that you don't have a real argument when you use them in the wrong instance.

  3. And she went over on Survivor Series, to me that's fucked up.
She should be holding spit buckets back in NXT.

  4. As bad as Jax is, and in no way am I defending Jax by any means, there are some positives to her botch

    1) Becky Lynch looks badass AF with the blood on her face and she's getting that Stonecold pop night and night out
    2) As bad as Rhonda Rousey got booed at SS, she would have gotten way more booed facing Becky Lynch
    3) Nia Jax gets nuclear heat and now wrestling fans will want to watch her ass get beat by Lynch
From a storyline perspective, it's an actual good storyline wwe can go with…and that's rare

  5. I'm not annoyed at Nia for being a woman. I'm annoyed at her for ruining a match between two other women, which would have gone a long way toward making it easier for other women to have big matches. This isn't about Nia being a woman. It's about Nia being unsafe. And trust me, for a minute I hated Seth Rollins for what I saw as him killing any chance of Sting repairing what little career he had in WWE. This isn't about sexism. If Braun botched a powerslam and broke Brock's back, he'd be the most hated man in WWE. For a while. Gender isn't the issue. Being an under-skilled worker is.
BUT. I will admit that if Becky had popped Nia and given her a black eye instead, the conversation would be different. And I don't think Becky would be taking anywhere near as much heat for it. Nor would I expect her to. But that's nothing to do with sexism, and everything to do with being better at her job than Nia is. Which, again, is the heart of the issue.

  6. Nia should be the one threatening people that they're gonna "GET THESE HANDS "
