83 Weeks #16: Randy Savage’s 1995 in WCW!

OHHHHHH YEAAAAAAH! Eric believes Hogan and Savage were almost interchageable as THE top star in the business. So it’s no wonder he wanted the “Macho Man” in WCW. Find out when he was “sold” on Savage once he was in power, who introduced the two, the details of how his deal was put together, where Slim Jim fit in, what concerns existed based on the Hogan-Savage relationship, why he was debuted the way he was, comparing the Hogan debut to his, how he got along with Sting, why he worked the early opponents he did, when Eric heard “the rumor” about Savage, what Savage told Eric, the four star match with Flair on PPV, the craziest thing you’ve ever heard about Steve Austin in WCW, why Savage never pinned Hogan clean, how Savage was at home, when and how Lanny was signed, why Angelo was booked in ’95, who put Flair in drag, his relationship with Liz, and of course the very interesting finish to World World War 3 in ’95 when Savage won the title for the first time. SNAP INTO IT!

  1. So Eric you're basically saying the only way to save your sinking ship was to use WWF guys lol you're pathetic

  2. Sting got hit with bad timing surfer Sting was great when he had Flair in Nwa/Wcw now when Flair left for WWF, if Sting could of left with him then he would of been a big star with Vince. Personally on 2nd thought the steroid trail would of been around the corner like at least a year later if Sting (read: he is a body guy & he admitted to using roids earlier on) would of made that jump then. The only other time sting would of been high stock jumping to Wcw maybe late 97 or early 98 because mid 99 might of been too late to jump.

  3. Hogan is a b@tch outside of putting Warrior, Andre, Show in Wcw, Taker or Berg over he didn't wanna put over: Bret, HBK, Piper, Jake, Flair, Savage, Rude or years later Austin…

  4. How the fuck can you relate smoking pot to driving fatalities when weed stays in your system for 30+ days. So basically, everyone who smokes weed even once in a while and then dies in a car accident must have been driving high? Pfft. Marijuana impairs people for four hours max, not a month. Somebody who smokes a joint a week or even a day before having an accident is going to be totally sober at the time. The fact that Conrad's statistic states over 40% of vehicular death victims had marijuana in the blood just tells you how many people smoke weed. I very rarely if ever heard about driving stoned being a big issue until the first States legalized and it is getting worse with all of Canada legalizing in October. The number of new smokers due to legalization is extremely low. Marijuana has been practically quasi legal depending on your attitude, local Police attitudes and location. I have been caught with it twice. I made up a story about where I got it and was given a ride home with no ticket, no charges, nothing. Very few people don't smoke because of the law, it is because they don't like it or just choose not to live that way which is fine obviously. My point being that the number of weed users has increased minimally the last decade so it isn't like there has been a sudden epidemic of stoned drivers because it has been happening for decades, and decades. We might as well blame it on the weed even if a person is drunk driving with weed in their blood because weed is illegal don't you know? Lmao I would really hope people would be looking at the alcohol issue because having marijuana in your blood is completely irrelevant in an accident unless you smoke a joint and go jump in the car with out waiting a few hours. And regular smokers don't get anywhere near the same effect to occasional or first time users. It just takes the edge off and can sometimes make your eyes feel funny. It isn't the stereotypical paranoia, laughter and munching on the couch all the time if you build a little tolerance which takes no time. Alcohol gets me much more loaded and is more dangerous in just about every way. And where are the PSA's about the fucking opioid epidemic? It is legal with a script and I bet it happens a lot where people chase the dragon or pop pills and go driving. That stuff literally makes you pass out off and on which is not good at all when driving. Plus Opiates stay in your system for much, much less time then weed. Same with cocaine and amphetamines. STOP SPREADING PROPAGANDA. Just like this "synthetic marijuana" shit that shouldn't even have an association with weed. Just because it has similar effects doesn't mean it is anything near the chemical make up of marijuana. There is no such thing as synthetic marijuana. We should be giving the crap a proper name instead of associating Marijuana with this random unhealthy herb. The lies are just running wild and it grinds my gears brother.
