Stipe Miocic 242.5 pounds…Daniel Cormier 246 pounds.

As Chael Sonnen predicted, UFC Light heavyweight Champion weighed in more than UFC Heavyweight Champ Stipe Miocic. What does this mean for the fight?

  1. With all that extra weight, we should see some pretty brutal slams, if Stipe can't keep him back.

  2. All this bla bla nonsense before a fight is useless. Mma is unpredictable. Anything could happen. Stipe could go out there and starch him inside one minute. Dc can go and easily take him down and submit him. We dont know. Dc is 39 , at any point now , his fighting could be affected suddenly or his chin or movement could get destroyed . This game is unpredictable .

  3. Stop spouting company secrets Chael!!!! The general fan base has no idea that fighters cut weight!

  4. Disagree. Daniel was banking on his motor and quickness to beat a
Stipe. Now he’s heavier than Stipe. He’ll be a sitting duck. Stipe is going to piece Daniel up.

  5. DC is old and very very heavy, if he doesn't get the quick takedown and just lay on him I don't think he is going to have that massive cardio, I just don't. Sure DC did all that, but not when he was 40, he didn't do that last year, that was ages ago and I think his cardio is gone, well at least his LHW cardio. He doesn't look in shape now. When he fought at HW he looked fat, but in shape, now he looks just obese.

  6. Everyone who is betting on DC, must think Stipe's power shots were lucky punches. I would like to see DC fight Mark Hunt or Fabricio Werdum or Alister Overeem or Junior dos Santos like Stipe has in the last 2.5 years. By the way, he won all with knock outs.

  7. Chael continuously asking "How?" Is kinda ironic given that he was already giving the concise answer multiple times.
