I watch COMBAT SPORTS not SPECTATOR SPORTS and im damn sure not watching nonsense drama like WWE. As a knowledgeable spectator of combat sports, i prefer to see the most skilled fighters fighting each other and I want to see the guy with the best skill set win. Or the one who could better read his opponents flaws. Or the one with the best game plan. Or the one who was better able to follow his game plan. These are the things that earn title shots imo. Yea i love to see exciting guys like the Diaz bros, but also i like so called "boring" guys like Tyron and GSP because theyre so damn GOOD. I personally dont care AT ALL if people who arent fighters or even martial artists arent entertained. Im watching to see the best fighters fight. I agree they deserve to be well paid though and i do want to see that happen. Id just like to keep the emphasis more on fighting ability than personality.

There would need to be some type of bracket or clear criteria for earning a title shot to begin to be legit. This is Wwe with real fights
