Sam Roberts got into hot water for comments he made about Bianca Belair on the NXT Takeover: Phoenix kickoff show. Sam insists he was not told what to say by WWE and he was merely stating his real opinion. Solomonster isn’t totally convinced of that, but if so, explains why he owes no apology to Binaca Belair, or anyone else for that matter.

As much as I can't stand Sam Roberts I didn't see why he should apologize for his opinion and Bianca honestly isn't on Shayna's level TBH and it showed…..She's not ready….
Fair play to Sam i cant stand the guy but he was actually right about her. Ultimately hel go back on it because hes a spineless pussy though.
Its not about him having an opinion but the way he said what he said came off as a personal attack against Bianca. How many girls who are a 10th of Shayna's get title matches and I dont see Sam calling those matches a waste of time. If he would have said "I'm not a Bianca fan and dont like her" thats fine but there no facts that support the foolishness that came out his mouth compared to other female NXT stars
I’m not surprised though it may not scream racism but I’m not putting it past him nor the WWE. WWE been treating African Americans Wrestlers like jokes in the company for years. The majority of the Black wrestlers in the WWE always have some type of chuck and jive type of gimmick. And please don’t say “Well The Rock was treated good”. The Rock favors his Samoa side than his black side and on T.V it was always portrayed like that. The WrestleMania 19 match between Booker T and HHH was a prime example, thou it was a storyline but you mean to tell me how the story was told Booker T couldn’t win that night? They will never have a “Full” black African American as the face of the company nor a WWE champ.
Sam Roberts was right. Bianca Belair wasn't ready for that spot. It wasn't a real waste. Bianca Belair's undefeated streak is over. I am happy about that.

I’ll admit that I thought Sam’s comment was dumb, but I was puzzled on why Bianca was chosen as challenger as well (I do feel that she was a last minute replacement for Kairi, who was sick with Hand Foot Mouth), when she was a heel and they could’ve easily gone with Io
