THE ALL ELITE EFFECT? Why WWE Is Nervous Right Now

More on Dean Ambrose leaving WWE when his contract expires and the company meeting with talent backstage at Smackdown last week to sign people to new deals whose contracts are expiring in the next year or so. If WWE seems a bit nervous right now, they have good reason to be.

  1. If this is real if Ambrose is really leaving then I expect a few to follow along with him.

Now that would cost a shitstorm

  2. Exactly. You know how many WWE apologists on YouTube and Twitter that claim WWE aren't afraid of AEW? Yes. they. are. Besides, what are they going to do with the talent that are just sitting there? Hell, they probably wouldn't even put them on the WWE main event show either. If they're not going to alternate talent on RAW and SmackDown, then get rid of those talents that you have no interest in. In addition, who cares what is embarrassing for Vince McMahon? It is embarrassing just watching RAW and SmackDown Live because he's always changing his mind, and because of that, the storylines and characters don't make any sense. Lastly, if WWE isn't paranoid of AEW why won't they even let go of people like Zack Ryder and Mojo Rawley that people claim they don't care about? Idiots.

  3. Here’s hoping that Lesnar does go to AEW. Because that means he’ll be dropping the title to Seth at Wrestlemania

  4. They're nervous because for the first time in years they aren't the ones "poaching" the top talent. They aren't just losing talent, they are losing the ability to get the top guys to replace them

  5. until AEW gets a big TV deal, there is nothing to worry about for WWE. Brock isn't going to AEW and Dean, I think he will end up wherever oVe is. If that happens to be AEW than he is going to AEW, if they just continue to bounce around between Impact, Rockstar Pro, and Blackcraft wrestling, than that is where you will see him. Also there is a difference between requesting a release and getting it granted. The Revival may have requested a release, but WWE probably has decline it. Which is why Scott and Dash are being made to look like chumps right now as punishment. WWE isn't nervous about AEW, but they probably do have their eyes on them. And if AEW gets a nice big tv deal, I mean an actual network deal, not the sister network to the sister network of Pop TV, I mean WGN, TBS, or wherever. That is when WWE will start being nervous. But until that day happens, AEW is striking no fear into WWE.

  6. WWE may be nervous but AEW still better bring their A game & come correct cuz WWE ain't no punks

  7. I woke up this morning thinking about this. I wouldn't put it past them for this to be a work and instead he goes back to his old name. It's probably what they should have done when they turned him heel although in my mind its a bit too similar to Mick Foley. Multiple personality disorder, hence, being called a lunatic all this time leading up to him finally snapping from all the stress with Roman, his feelings of being the third wheel and a joke. Instead, let's stick a needle in his ass and call it a day. I'd also kayfabe divorce Renee and Ambrose so the commentary isn't so damned stupid.
