Samoa Joe gave a verbal beatdown on Smackdown last week to the other participants in the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE title, including one sick burn to Jeff Hardy. Great as Joe is on the microphone, he runs the risk of becoming another Bray Wyatt if he doesn’t start actually backing up all of that smack talk.

I love how we blame Bray Wyatt for booking like they’re about to start doing with Samoa Joe. Like people really turned on Wyatt for losing as if he had a say in it, I never understood that. Like people forget this is scripted and they want who they want to win, so then why would I punish a guy like Joe or Wyatt for losing if the creative tells them to? Doesn’t make them any less of a great wrestler or talker like they tried to say about Wyatt’s promos cause he lost so much, his promos diminished in value. That’s the dumbest logic in the world to me and Joe will be no less great if he keeps losing cause Vince is an idiot, that’s not on joe, but let the people tell it, that matters. FOH

You know, if AJ Styles had the same shit talking skills as Samoa Joe, he would be able to make a comeback from that verbal beat down. I would have said something like, "How's my wife Wendy? She's doing great, much better than your win/loss record against me…what are you now, 0-4 or something? So Joe, are you actually planning on winning any championships while you're here or are you keeping your fingers crossed you make it into the Hall of Fame one day?
