OK Bill, fair comment on white women claiming oppression. As you say, any demographic should be fair game in comedy. So what about black women? Is Jada Pinkett Smith oppressed? Is Alicia Keys hard done by? Did Oprah get the short end of the stick? No. But they are typical of the vanguard of the black/female intersectional demographic that claims the white patriarchy is the root of all evil. They are educated, financially well-off, and successful. Identity politics breeds hate and resentment. But it's also very lucrative, in both social capital and real capital. As another poster said on a previous BB Podcast thread, it's like cancer: the money is in the treatment, not the cure.
