MVP won the fight – now he goes back to the drawing board and work on a strategy for Doug Lima. I don’t think he did that badly in the grappling – Paul Daley isn’t an elite wrestler but he’s a good enough wrestler. MVP looked better than I expected in the grappling Dept.
He kind of got exposed, in that an actual fighter with good wrestling will just beat him by decision or submit him.
I bet Rory MacDonald would take him down as Rory has better wrestling than Daley. MVP is like a fish out of water on the ground.
As far as the Douglas Lima fight coming up, hard to say with that one. Douglas is a striker I am pretty sure and that plays into MVP's game, MVP is certainly a better striker than Douglas.
