  1. Lawler has one of the best td defenses… If we get the Lawler that fougth Condit and Rory, Askren is dead. But Lawler seems to have lost that heart! I hope not.

  2. I respectfully disagree with ur Pettis assesment. Imo wonderboy probably wins by decision. However the more I think it over, pettis has a pretty good chance. Size wont make that much of a difference(Diaz vs silva) cos Thompson dont wrestle and doesn't over commit and throw heavy strikes. Pettis should be a touch faster and is known for heavy strikes mostly kicks. Wonderboy doesn't usually destroy good strikers he just pieces them up(rory, masvidal, till) except a dehydrated rob Whitaker. Pettis also has a good guard too just in case. I highly doubt it'll be career ending. Pettis may even slip in there n knock him out. Apparently he and duke rufus (total dog name) see something u dont. Also I tried to kick his ass in ufc3. Harder fight 4 Thompson than most welterweights

  3. Robbie Lawler's gonna win, what's so good about Ben Askren? He's got some wrestling, so what?

  4. I wish you would have expanded on the craftiness of Ben Askren as a grappler. The funk roll was his creation. I believe sometimes BJJ practitioners get so lost in the belt rankings, that they forget there are levels to grappling. When you hit that Olympic level, the amount they can absorb, relate and regurgitate once you start training any style submission grappling is astronomical. I think that is why wrestlers, after a few years of BJJ fair so well in MMA. Their explosive power and grappling experience start to break down BJJ strictly players. It's interesting.

  5. Coach Zahabi , I can listen to you talk the fight game all day. Of all the people I've come across the many years of boxing and MMA that I have listen to.. you sir are by far my favorite. Thanks for making such clear and concise observations.

  6. Tyson was a beast, but doesn’t have any real noteworthy wins in his career. Spinks was a light heavy weight and Holmes was an old man, those are his best wins. He obliterated all subpar competition though and he might just have been the best HW ever, he just never proved it, not even in his prime.

  7. there is a fine line between genius and madness, i think petis' camp are mad but we will see
