  1. San Pedro (Calif.) native Guy Newmark received his 1964 Porsche 356C as a graduation present from his father in the mid-1960s. Over 50 years later, Newmark was still driving his blue Porsche when the odometer ticked over the million-mile mark. Undaunted, Newmark continued driving it every day. His approach says everything: Newmark took it in for maintenance after every 3,000 miles over the last five decades.

  2. That was fantastic! I owned and drove thousands of miles in my bugs! I see a lot of similarities on that car nand I believe it could do a million miles! Beautiful resto!

  3. probably drives and handles just like a VW which are great if you're used to them. Not with those old tires though, lol. Need to learn to use the rear traction. That actualy looks like how they wrecked the other. The guy wasn't used to them and it went straight into something.

  4. I don't know how I missed this video two years ago. Great video and kudo's to Rod and Emory Motorsports for a fantastic job on the restoration.

  5. Bit of a trigger’s broom though isn’t it? Different engine to the one that ran the race, new roof etc etc etc…

  6. Porsche & VW just stole this concept from Tatra in the 30's after the annexation of Tschechoslovakia, just like Ford was a Antisemetic friend of Hitler…
