The first season of the PFL (Professional Fighters League) is over. What didn’t work is that the consumer has yet to really respond to their product. On the other hand, what worked is that Kayla Harrison is ready to be a star. Perhaps more than that, however, is that fighters who deserved a second chance to do something special in MMA got one. They found the right fit and ultimately showcased the best of themselves. That was true for both light heavyweight champion Sean O’Connell and middleweight champion Louis Taylor.

Technical issues scored early and often against Luke Thomas landing heavy signifcant strikes in the first round staggering the flummoxed challenger. Early in the second round Technical Issues toyed with a confused and befuddled Luke Thomas before easly knockout him out at the 2:40 second mark. After the bout Luke Thomas as usual demanded an immediate rematch.
Luke, can you jiggle the cables on all your equipment or something? Turn some things off and on again? The mono audio channel is nice but I'm not listening to you on vinyl today

I love the fact that you can get both a tournament style format and a matchmaking style in MMA simultaneously.
It’s like having league games and cup games in football (soccer). They offer different looks, and are both extremely rewarding.

MMA is a brutal business. I have no idea if pfl sticks around paying out that kind of money.
I liked the PFL model actually, it's something different and it was nice to see some new fighters that i haven't seen fight or fight in ling while. It was win win IMO gives fans & fighters breath of fresh air.
