What does Henry Cejudo’s win mean for the flyweight division? | Ariel & The Bad Guy | ESPN MMA

Ariel & The Bad Guy, alongside Brett Okamoto, recap all the action from UFC Fight Night: Brooklyn, where Henry Cejudo knocked out TJ Dillashaw in 32 seconds to defend the UFC flyweight title. The guys debate if the stoppage was too soon, and if stoppages should be considered differently in championship bouts.

They also delve into the future of the flyweight division, which appears to still be up in the air. (12:22) Helwani, Sonnen and Okamoto debate the merits of Greg Hardy competing in the co-main event, which resulted in a disqualification after an illegal knee to the head of Allen Crowder. (15:24) They also discuss if Donald Cerrone could earn a fight against Conor McGregor after defeating Alex Hernandez.

  1. I replayed this fight in slow mo many times . TJ eyes rolled twice . The first the ref was on the off side and the second on the ground and the ref was looking straight at him and called it . Good stoppage . Henry was over him smashing away . TJ was not protecting him self and went for the leg very slowly . Look henry beat the shit out of him in like less then a minute . Congrats to Henry epic win . Hearing TJ complain is pathetic . He lost suck it up and move on . Tj is so talented he needs just shut up and regroup .

  2. Stephen A, please get away, from my MMA. I just didn’t like him in this setting please never again.

  3. Tj nearly killed Barao twice. Cain nearly killed jds twice. Tj dont give up 10 years of your life like them.

  4. TJ doesn't want to give his Bantam weight belt to Cejudo too. It's why TJ is balking. Very telling.

  5. I think Dana will remove FW division anyway and merge the fighters in BW .
