T.J. Dillashaw Says ‘The Weight Cut Is Over,’ Talks ‘Slow’ Max Holloway | SiriusXM | Luke Thomas

UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw is dropping to flyweight to take on champion Henry Cejudo in the first ever UFC on ESPN+ card. In this interview from my radio show, Dillashaw stops by to discuss the weight cut, why he has his sights set on the ‘slow’ UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway and much more.

  1. You can tell TJ is a little snappy. The weight cut is likely going well but he still much not be feeling too great. Luke was asking him the right questions but TJ was probably not in the right mindset for them. Especially when he has a tough fight and a taxing cut right in front of him.

  2. All respect to champ TJ Dillashaw whom I've been a fan since the Renan Barao 1 fight.
… he cannot fight Max Holloway in 2019, it would look like Gegard Mousassi beating down Rory Macdonald…
TJ Dillashaw to win everything at 135lbs and the day Max Holloway goes to 155lbs/170lbs… then TJ can go rule at 145lbs

  3. TJ is one of the most disciplined fighters in the UFC. If and when he makes weight, I will be very impressed. Gotta respect how he strives to go above and beyond

  4. Wait I need to tell u guys something, TJ Dillashaw joins us on the Luke Thomas show

  5. Loved the interview! I give you a lot of shit on twitter, but this is why I keep coming back. TJ is already the P4P, but he'll be up there in Fedor-Jones land in the GOAT convos if he beats Henry and Max. Hes the most professional fighter since GSP– and may even succeed him.
