  1. I'm athletic enough that I get away with a lot of pressure passing. but the fact that I'm from the smallest division means it wouldn't be so effective against most people. I wish i was slick XD.

  2. I only pressure pass and have never used steroids. It's not really a strength or squeeze thing. It's a pressure thing. I mean if you can stay on your toes and distribute your weight properly then it's not tiring at all. I like it because it drains more of my opponent's energy than mine. I'm a half guard guy so I pretty much end up in a pressure pass every time I sweep. Fast, left right, passing is what tires me out. Staying heavy and distributing your weight properly isn't tiring. Look at Bernardo or jake mackenzie. Neither are particularly athletic but both will smash the crap out of the person on bottom. The athletic guys tend to use fast passing (mendes bros, marcello, etc). I pressure pass because I'm NOT athletic.

  3. Hi Firas, have you read ‘Why we sleep’ by Matthew Walker? (unsure of audible status) – it has changed my perspective on the importance of sleep and amount of sleep. I would definitely recommend if not, if you have I would love to hear your thoughts

  4. Sergio Moraes vs Ben Saunders is another good example of pressure passing. Ben tried to use rubber guard and Sergio just pushed through all of it. Pressure passing is king, IMO. Especially for older practitioners.
