New Japan presents its biggest event of the year this Friday, Wrestle Kingdom 13, from the Tokyo Dome. Solomonster runs down the entire card and gives predictions for all of the matches, including the opener with Kota Ibushi and Will Ospreay, Chris Jericho defending his Intercontinental title against Tetsuya Naito and Kenny Omega defending the IWGP title against Hiroshi Tanahashi.

  1. Bret Hart Beat Ric Flair for the Title in Saskatoon Saskatchewan Canada..Cheers

  2. Jericho/Okada would be a wonderful main event. Ibushi/omega would be a great main event in Japan. The card for the garden would have to be super stacked.
The guy will probably be Riddle if he can stay off the smoke. Kenny appreciates creativity over money.

  3. My predictions:

Pre show: Taguchi, Makabe and Yano win the gauntlet. The great bash heel reunion tour continues

Will vs Kota: I personally want Kota to retain, but Ospreay will most likely win. The one no side to tgat is that it means Kota can go after either the IC belt or world title.

3 way junior tag match: RP3K finally win the belts and get a long reign (I personally want to see LIJ win, but from a story perspective, it makes more sense for RP3K to win)

Juice vs Cody for us belt: Juice get a his revenge for WK 11 and G1 us special. Cody leaves and never returns!

3 way tag team match: GOD retains and continues bullet club resurgence.

KUSHIDA vs Ishimori: Ishimori wins IWGP Jr title for the first time.

Ishii vs Zack: Ishii to retain. Zack is ok, but I want Ishii to continue his reign.

Okada vs White: White wins and the traitor is revealed.

Naito vs Jericho: Naito wins and Jericho leaves (For good this time)

Omega vs Hiroshi: Hirishi wins the belt for the 8th time! Sorry Kenny, but Hiroshi is destined to win the belt one more time.

Overall, this card is solid and will beat the Rumble (no surprise really).

  4. Will be an amazing show. As far as Omega vs. Tana goes, that will certainly be the most interesting outcome. If Omega loses, everyone will be asking questions about NJPW, AEW, and WWE.

As far as your idea of Omega vs. Ibushi goes, I'd like to see it at MSG, but I wouldn't count on Ibushi winning since I don't think he's actually signed to NJPW full time contract himself even though he works most of the matches. They won't commit to him unless he commits to them. Even him winning the Never Open Weight Title just seems like something they had to do to get the belt on Ospreay.

  5. I really want to like G.O.D but they aren't clicking with me when the bell rings. I hope in 2019 they make me feel a different kind of way.
