It's wiere seeing Stephen a Smith talking MMA
But what about the intangibles, Chael?
i can't stand stephen a smith trying to talk about mma, does my fkn head in lol and i know i'm DEFINITELY not alone in that, so even if he's doing it out of pure love which i can appreciate, i'd advise the ufc not to have him on for the sake of not pissing off the fans anymore than they already do.
There are times when MMA fans just disappoint me. Some fans were upset at Mandy Moore for no reason basically because she was a fan of the UFC and promoted the sport. Then there is this Stephen A thing. Stephen A isn't a martial artist but he is a big sports fan and a public figure. The UFC and MMA need guys like that on their side. I also still hope Mandy Moore is a fan.

Nonetheless Steven Smith needs to never commentate in the ufc
He wasnt doing it out of love. He sees it growing and wants in on it. He just trying to insert himself into the next thing.
The day Stephen A and the rest of ESPN will start treating MMA like they do every other will be a sad one for MMA
