  1. 56:51 You can hide a religious affiliation. Unless you take drastic action, you can't hide skin color. When Jewish people had the allied powers destroy a tiny country so that Jewish people could have their own country, most people weren't the biggest fans of displacing a massive group of people by force. The problem with people like Bari Weiss is that they use their wealth as a sign of highlighting their intelligence, and by removing nuance from certain stories causes a lot of the political divide we see today. What I find ironic is Jordan Peterson talked earlier on the podcast to highlight the nuance of living in Northeastern France or Germany during WWII to explain the magnitude of tragedy as a way of trying to understand the minds of individuals in the most publicized atrocity in the past century. There are many Russians who know they are considered white in the US who have strict Muslim families in Eastern Bloc countries and don't complain about the fact that the largest casualties of WWII were Russians starved by their own leader. I think James Lindsay said it best that modern politics is not about trying to seek the truth but seeking what supports your opinion.

Unlike the Black Panthers, the 1st amendment protects the Nation of Islam heavily. I don't support Farrakhan as a person, yet the work that he did with Malcolm X and others allowed black people in the United States the ability to strive for being comfortable in their skin. When you look at history, it's actually ironic how many people are quicker to support a Malcolm X than a Huey Newton, who fought for gay rights, women's rights, and pushed Afrocentrism and helped create the environment that brought Disco, Jimmy Hendrix, sexual liberation and more. The only difference was that the secular organization was able to be thoroughly investigated by the FBI for long periods of time whereas the group that hid behind religious liberty was able to flourish.

  2. No Joe, you are not obligated to destroy your country because there are unfortunate kids in the world. The Usa is a joke country right now.
