I Was Wrong About Floyd Mayweather vs. Tenshin Nasukawa | SiriusXM | Luke Thomas

Floyd Mayweather fought Japanese kickboxing sensation Tenshin Nasukawa at Rizin 14 on New Years Eve in an ‘exhibition’ contest. Mayweather demolished Nasukawa, dropping him three times en route to his corner throwing the towel and Nasukawa showing histrionics on national television. I was wrong about a central feature of the contest, but note there is some silver lining in the entire farce. Also, while one can never say for certain, the evidence for the bout being fixed or thrown is thin.

The Luke Thomas Show airs weekdays, 3 to 6pm ET, on SiriusXM Fight Nation, channel 93.

  1. Only people who have never fought think its fake. Tenshin is a boxing novice. If mayweather went 100 per cent tenshin would have died lets get real. Kudos for mayweather going easy on him

  2. Chael broke this down perfectly … luke has become a shill.

  3. It’s said to say but luke is loosing credibility everyday that he shills for the sport, on this and Jon Jones he is becoming a joke

  4. You need Mayweather you need a bad guy too point your fingers at!!" in scarface voice πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  5. Floyd's going around the world baiting non-Boxers into Boxing matches so he can associate himself with greatness down the line. 15 years from now we'll be talking about Tenshin as a kickboxing god and boxing fans will come out of the woodwork and say "he lost to Floyd", same shit with Conor. Also he's making a shit load of money
