Fabricio Werdum asks for release from UFC


Former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show to discuss his future in the sport. Werdum states that he would like a release from UFC so that he can resume his fighting career. Werdum is under U.S. Anti-Doping Agency suspension until May 2020 because of a failed drug test and states that he wants to continue fighting this year, but cannot do that while under contract with UFC. He says that he plans on meeting with UFC officials next week in order to negotiate a release.
