He may live closer to the other market… But how many people did we believe when we were younger, lived near or in the stores we shopped at? So what's ironic to her may not seem ironic to you. It could be ironic with her current perspective. Telling her it's not ironic is incorrect. In fact, as humor often does, the fact that she thinks it's amusing enough to be called ironic, opens up a conversation about working places that don't necessarily bring everything you believe a job like that would bring.
