  1. Stunning build. SOHC 427, top loader 4 speed and that exhaust, come on. Hand me a bud light, it just don't get better than this.
I'm about half way on a Cobra build using the same engine. Not a Ed Pink build, but I took my time on it and it is pushing 625 on 91 octane. And I saw some things he did on this Fairlane I going to do on my Cobra now. No, it's not an original, but it is an exact repro aluminum body, not glass.
How can 159 people thumbs down this video? They must be tree hugging, toad licking Prius drivers.

  2. 1983 drove one with a 429 cobra stuffed In it home made fabricated flat track frame went to California in 2 days 4 hours…

  3. I am a MOPAR guy. But certain FORD engines sound amazing. Especially with that Holman-Moody exhaust set-up. By the way, it is worth watching Mario Andretti's win at the Daytona 500 in '67. He came from behind, after his own Team tried to sabotage him in favor of his teammate, and he drove the snot out of his Fairlane to victory.

  4. Amazing build. Now I want to pull the mufflers out of my sidepipes 🙂

  5. Hey Jay how would you like the opportunity to buy a brittany blue genuine R code 427, 67 hardtop all genuine except 411 rear end and Hearst shifter, fully restored 13759 original miles original owner all paperwork included? Want top dollar for a truly rare classic as you know it's one of the rarest muscle cars on the planet only 72 produced that year, also had a custom hood made by Ford as I didnt want pins so it's on springs and hinges specially modified for the dual carbs which is also on the original order sheet which I have also.

  6. I don't believe in interbreeding on classics…but its fun to argue about….lol
