Former NFL All-Pro Greg Hardy will make his UFC debut on January 19th on the UFC’s first card on ESPN+. The problem? It’s on the same card as UFC flyweight Rachael Ostovich, who only weeks ago suffered a horrendous domestic violence event. Whether or not one believes Hardy should get a license or compete in the UFC is one issue, but the optics and message of booking them on the same card is impossibly self defeating and idiotic. In addition, ESPN plays a role of complicity here. This one is impossible to defend.

  2. I think it's a genius move… Casuals will gonna be casuals and want to watch Hardy get beat up because of his past… And some wanna watch a domestic violence victim pick herself up and win a fight… It create a buzz… A screwed up buzz but a buzz nonetheless

  3. You can really tell who didn't watch the video and has started rocking back and forth, screeching at the idea that some common decency is a "SJW" behaviour. haha

  7. Look how much more publicity this card has now got. Greg Hardy will always have people questioning his past, there will be people who will always tune in to watch him potentially get battered for his prior activity, this doesn’t really damage him much and boosts the case of Ostovich.

  8. Life goes on, deal with your own shit. The only people magnifying her suffering about this are the media, her situation has nothing to do with his situation. I would bet money that both Ostovich and Hardy hadn't even given a thought about each other before the media brewed up this shitstorm.
