  1. I'd like to see Jay Leno drive a Ram Air IV Judge, with 4 speed, and factory 4.33 gears. A completely different animal !

  2. I drove 1971 tempest in high school,  it had the 350 engine and thm 400 trans, I did everything I could to make it look and run like the gto. I really thought hose cars were cool. it is just memories now.

  3. Jay Leno…The worst interviewer in the world. How in hell did he get the tonight show all those years? Pathetic>

  4. my first car in 82 was a 71 lemans 350 motor best care i ever owned. it sqweelled in second 3 speed 350 auto. no screen needed just awsome

  5. It's not "hard" so make those cars almost as fast as a modern car, but definitely more than enough for the old brakes and chassis. And there would be no evidence, except two very long black stripes.

  6. I couldn't stand to drive such a nice looking car in that condition. Wouldn't take too long to fix it either.

  7. Times are not the same decade to decade, that is for sure. They mention in the video that the car is almost 50 years old. Yes, it does not have ABS or computers on board, but it drives very similar to a contemporary car. When THIS car was new, 50 years previous was 1920. In 1920, we were just coming off the brass era. Most cars were not even fully enclosed. Many nameplates were still just for the rich. They were low power, no safety in them at all, no power, no heat or AC, bad tires that went flat all the time, and most people did not drive. There was no highway system, and few paved roads. Think about all this from that perspective.
