Admiral Robert Phillips gives Jay his love story with this very special race car that he has owned for 58 years, which is the longest continuous ownership of a competition Ferrari. This Ferrari will be available at Gooding & Company’s 2018 Pebble Beach Auctions and maybe you could be the lucky owner of this historic marque.

very special episode, what a great find, and great story!
I would’ve never sold it. I would pass it down in my family. Regardless, the video shows a great story, man, and car.
I met this gentleman at the Rockville, MD annual car show a few years ago. He and his wife could not have been more down to earth and nicer to me and the many others that were simply in awe of this car and them as well.
thank you for your service… and your stewardship
13:30 not exactly true. Chrysler started experimenting with a hemispherical combustion chamber in at least '53. Even the engine in a '55 DeSoto further proves this: 291ci Hemi.
I love the story of this car, it's really amazing and beautiful
Proof that Ferrari have been hitting nothing but net for 50+ years
This episode is easily within my Top 5 All Time.
Passion doesnt have an age
Between the car and the Admirals stories this is my favorite episode.
