I remember seeing this car on the episode of Home Improvement that was filmed in the garage.
I love the sound of that car. I fell in love at 12 with the sound of my older brothers friend Mike who had a 1972 MG. It was leaf green with tan leather interior and I got a chance to tag along with him a few times during a fantastic Indian summer one year in Crystal Minnesota. Takes me right back there.
"What's the tire pressure?" Please see your dealer. "Oh shut up." LOL.
I'm 4 years younger than Jay. A guy up the road had 3 MGA's in his driveway or in his shop at any given time. Prepped for racing. Once in a while he'd have a XK120. A local store had a big white Jaguar (Mk V to Mk IX, I can't remember) that got confused for being a RR. It was the calling card for the store, parked out front on raised asphalt and under a custom marquis tent. Very classy. 🙂
Wow that thing sounds awesome didn't see that coming.
Loved your Tonight Show and now I've become addicted to your Garage show – I love classic cars too. Would love to have permission to post some the episodes on my blog site; fidelitosblog.com, let me know your thoughts. Take care.
I like this guy's attitude; 'none of this, little can of air that goes fee-ee-ee'. LOL!
Mr Jay you look cool in that 54 Jaguar.👍🏼
nice
Jays stories are like history lectures but I actually enjoy them
