Sijara Eubanks: My life goal is to be UFC champion | Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show


UFC women’s flyweight Sijara Eubanks joins Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show in studio to address the beef she had with Helwani had and how they were able to squash it by talking it over. Eubanks expresses her thoughts on her fight vs. Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 230, in which she won by decision, saying that she is happy to get the victory, but disappointed that it did not turn out the way she wanted to. Eubanks also details the issues she had with weight cutting heading into this fight. Sijara expresses how it feels to miss out on another possible title shot due to missing weight and hopes to get a third chance at getting a title shot opportunity. Eubanks explains that if the UFC asked her to move up in weight, she would because she has her sights set on getting a belt. Sijara reacts to getting booed at Madison Square Garden, calling it “awesome” and how she is not letting the negativity from fans affect her.

Some of the best athletes ever are black and are highly respected. People are hating on Sijara because she's unprofessional and arrogant. Nobody gives a damn if you're black and like eating some coochie. You're a prize fighter. Make weight and collect some wins.
