Should Chuck Liddell have been licensed?

  1. Chuck developed glass jaw 9 years ago, that is a clear sign of serious brain damage. He was flatlined multiple times in an unnatural manner. There is zero evidence that the chin ever returns even after a very long layoff because it is an indicator of significant brain damage. The physical tests are not adequate in a case like Chuck’s and an MRI of the brain does not show functional damage. Chuck had his lights shut out by a punch that should not have even come close to putting him out, we all know that. A 49 year old fighter after an 8 year layoff and with a clear history that his chin was gone 8 years ago, that’s enough evidence to deny a license to fight. What would Chael say if Chuck had died in the ring? He’d be singing a different tune. Complete bullshit from Chael because his old ass wants to keep going in there and collecting paychecks for his terrible performances.
