At Golden Boy MMA 1, Chuck Liddell faced Tito Ortiz for the third time in their long-standing rivalry. While Ortiz looked fine given the circumstances, Liddell did not. In fact, despite Liddell’s status as an all-time great, there was little joy in watching the duo tangle at this age. In short, it was not an enjoyable experience. If sports isn’t that, it’s nothing.

  1. Ya know what … I was a "to each his own" kinda guy and thought that only Chuck can day what is goid for Chuck. Clicking here I was fully thinking I wasn't gonna agree with Luke. But this was a sincere, well thought out position and … I think I agree with him.
    We saw about 1/5th of the Chuck Liddell of 10 – 15 years ago.
    My only thing is … we don't know what Chuck's finances are like. He might've needed this fight for his family. But as a fan of MMA and Liddell, I agree with Luke. I don't wanna see this again.

  2. Wow Congrats he beat a guy that could barely walk Chuck's concussions and injuries have definitely taken a toll on him this fight happened to late great legend in his time but sadly time to pass the torch

  3. And no matter what chuck needed that so he can see for himself rhat he is done he always thought dana made him stop when he thought he could still fight ,well now he knows ots over but it was his journey no one elses

  4. The silver lining I take out of this who debacle is that it highlighted what a lousy and opportunistic grease ball Oscar De La Hoya is. He'll have one hell of an up hill battle convincing anyone of his legitimacy going forward.

  5. Can u imagine Chuck vs any top 20 LHW in the UFC!?…No wonder Dana wanted no part of the Chuck vs Tito fight! Chuck had Zero head movement! absolutely none! was fighting in slo mo and was gunshy whilst also being afraid to be hit! He's hopefully done fighting now surely?!…

  6. I can't wait for mcgregor to come back 25 years later when khabib knees are shot and get a win
