Alistair Overeem wants to fight Derrick Lewis: ‘I’m not impressed by him’ | Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show


UFC heavyweight Alistair Overeem calls in to Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show to discuss his win vs. Sergey Pavlovich at UFC Fight Night 141, saying he needed to win this fight and expresses that his is still enjoying his journey in MMA. Overeem details the process it took leading up to his fight vs. Pavlovich and what it was like training with Curtis Blaydes. Overeem expresses his thoughts on his time in China and also states that he wants to achieve on of his goals which is to live in Thailand. Overeem discusses his future in the UFC, how he wants to fight again soon, calls out Derrick Lewis for a fight, saying that even though Lewis is strong, he is “not impressed by him.”

  1. Overeem always does extremely well with the fat guys. Look what he did to certified killers like Nelson and Hunt. Lewis should be easy work for the Reem

  2. Fuck it, I hope Overeem beats Lewis and gets another title shot b4 Ngannou catches back up to him in the rankings and fights him again 😂

  3. I think Lewis Ko's him because that chin is shot but never know so I'm down to see that fight.
