On this week’s 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff and Conrad Thompson, they discuss Eric’s surprise debut on WWE Monday Night Raw, in July 2002! Hear about what Eric was up to in between the close of WCW and his WWE run, including TV projects, and even some MatRats talk! How did Eric wind up in WWE, who contacted him, why wasn’t he involved in the Invasion angle, how did the concept of his debut take shape, what were some of the reactions he saw around him, and how did he feel his first appearance went? All this and so much more!

When Eric mentioned Dave Meltzer it reminded me of last year wrestlemania I believe when his person on inside was telling him Roman reigns will beat Brock and Brock is leaving for ufc. Brock won then a few days later it came out that Vince and everyone in gorilla knew they had a person telling things so they was feed bs.

Conrad needs to get a podcast with jim cornette
I would love to hear Eric's TED talk on this subject.
Eric, was one of my most favorite tv personalities on WCW. When he arrived on raw that night I freaked out. As a character on tv he was a great. You loved him as the villain, I loved how he would say things like, "You want to challenge mawai?" Lol…miss those days. Not to mention he introduced a World Title that actually is a respectable title the World Heavyweight Championship. Universal Title sucks.
You have to give Eric credit for remembering a lot better as of late lol

I was surprised to hear that it was Eric's first Ted Talk. You'd think during his time in WCW he had talked to Ted Turner before…
I wonβt spoil it but that was pretty lame
