Front of this car looks like the back of the car !
Fiat 500 Twin air = new Aircooled 😉
put an Ls in it -_-
Back in the 80s, I could have had one of these for $2k…I'm sick!
Jay, several years ago while driving in San Rafael, CA I pulled into a parking lot behind a Aqua colored (original) 914. The badge on the back said, I think, 3.2. I walked up to the driver, who said he was the original owner, and said that I did not remember any 3.2 914s. He said that he put a Carrera engine in it, we had a good laugh. Cool car!
Unfortunately 911 snobs look down on this 1
Imteresting the reference to '901' .. story is that Peugeot took Porsche to court for using a 3 digit series number with a '0' in the middle, and copyrighted that formula for their model series, .. so Porsche were forced to replace the '0' with a '1' hence 901 disappeared and replaced with '911'
What do think about the Porsche 928. I had one and regret letting it go.
You forgot the other mid engined car from the 60's and 70's, the Lotus Europa.
This is the first time I've heard that porsche's six cylinder aluminium blocks were stronger than the later magnesium blocks. Anyone want to confirm this? google wasn't much help.
