I'd put a turbo, nos, and a blower on it
I am as old as Jay. My first cars were non-power steering. You really got the feel of the road. Not so bad until you went to parallel park. Love my old cars but it's lucky I lived. Even the best were dangerous. Metal dashboards and no seat belts. My uncle got his front teeth knocked out from a sudden stop.
That cars gotta be worth alot
This is one of the coolest cars in existence if you ask me.

Wow, listen to those doors close ! She has a momentary misfire there at 30:46 but that's not hard to figure out, an easy fix. What a nice vehicle I think I'm becoming a Hudson fan. Hmmm now where to find one.

But yeah, even though it was a "marketing word" more than a "street term," more people DID use "fabulous" in their day-to-day language back then.
It's a shame that Hudson didn't last that long.
Any car with a two piece windshield is cool.
I like these old cars much better than the exotic super cars.
In 1956 three teenagers survived a crash on an icy February night. It involved 3 impacts and rolling over a rock in a '49 Hudson Hornet.Only injuries were a few stitches and some glass splinters removed from my scalp.
