Conor McGregor’s ‘First Punch’ at UFC 229 Brawl | SiriusXM | Luke Thomas

Conor McGregor took part in the post-UFC 229 brawl after Khabib Nurmagomedov jumped the cage to attack Dillon Danis. Some have argued it is McGregor who threw the first punch and the MMA media have ignored it. Is that true? No, it’s not, at least not in the way it is being presented.

The Luke Thomas Show airs weekdays, 3 to 6pm ET, on SiriusXM RUSH, channel 93.

  1. Coonor fans talking – talk about the background why all this happened
He crossed all limits before the fight

  2. all that khabib says is bullshit, he jumped at dillon danis first… conor reacts to it. period.

  3. Nice! i have been so confused about this fact!! well said Luke, some big names out there spewing that out in podcasts?

  4. Conner haters!! wake up, do you want your fighters paid nothing? don't hear anyone sooking about the extra pay check!!! dumb dumbs

  5. It's funny how all these pundits are trying to exploit the UFC 229 brawl. I've never seen so much of Chael, Ariel, Luke, Schaub in a single week. Sorry but the ones who defend Khabib come off as much more reasonable like Serra, Longo etc. The others who defend Conor just seem to be on the payroll and trying to save the UFC cashcow. I haven't heard much from Luke Thomas though so I can't necessarily criticize him beyond this video.

  6. I wonder what's on tomorrow's UFC PR agenda, because today was all about turning Connor into an innocent victim after all that trash talk and chaos he created. Nice try Luke.

  7. Luke, I think most people are talking about Conor’s punch because he got his money and Khabib didn’t. I think it’s more about those purses.

  8. It’s a win win with the Khabib situation. Either he’s just bluffing and the champ stays with the organization or he quits and the UFC loses a big baby and his bunch of whiny fans.

  9. No one is saying Conor started it. The guys attacked Conor in the cage because he hit Khabibs cornerman/family member at the top of the cage. If Conor wouldn't not have hit him, the other guys would not have jumped in to defend him.
