It’s a five-year deal that’s being heralded as the most lucrative contract for an individual fighter in sports history. I have four takeaways from this development, not least of which is that the era of streaming is upon us. More than that, however, is how intertwined MMA and boxing are and that between the WWE moving to their own network and this deal, UFC’s days on pay-per-view must be numbered.
