83 weeks #21: Bischoff vs. Flair

When and where did Ric and Eric first meet? When did the “heat” between them really begin? Did Ric try to hold up Eric for a new contract in 1994? What problems existed in 1995? What moment can Eric point to in 1996 when he thinks things started to really fall apart? What was the truth about Ric’s contract in 1998? What about the private plane costs Ric wrote about in his book? What can’t Eric defend today? Did the infamous “locker room meeting” really take place? Why did Eric bury Ric on the Thunder he missed? Was Ric ever fired? Was Eric concerned Ric may show up on WWF TV? How did everyone come to terms to come back together? What was scripted in Ric’s promo from his return? What was real?

  1. "I wasn't trying to get myself over, I was trying to get heat on myself". I do see a slight difference; getting heat is eliciting a response for a reaction, getting yourself over is like winning a belt or a big match or something .

  2. 1:18:50 "i only tell you one time …don't fuck me Barry…don't ever try to fuck me!" Bishoff sounds like Sosa.

  3. Bischoff likes to hid behind this big Nitro vs Thunder storyline that never came to be… Every time its something that he did wrong or makes him look like the ass he is or was "Oh i was building towards this" Yeah right bro just admit you were being a dick and move on… Id respect you for that but this dodging and hiding behind this shit makes me think your still just pushing yourself except now your on a podcast instead of running a promotion… Lets hope this turns out a little better but I wouldn't be surprised if Hulk Hogan joined as a 3rd host next week in typical EB fashion…

    P.S. #FDM

  4. One thing I notice about the Bruce and Eric podcasts is I always get the impression Eric is on the stand and Conrad is grilling him, whereas the Bruce podcasts tend to be lighter; Conrad goes easier on Bruce

  5. Flair was always overrated same match same interview for 30 freaking years!!! The only thing he had was stamina motherfuker never gets tired
